Absolutely amazing event Neil, strangers to some, came together and treated each other with such kindness, warmth, and friendliness. I just can’t wait for the next on. Laura

arameet this weekend was brilliant and just what I needed. I’ve not really felt like socialising much since my dad passed a few months back. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel stepping back into the thick of things or if I was ready to even do so, but with every hug and every smile and every conversation, it felt more and more like home—surrounded by old friends, new friends, and the good and the great people of the paranormal world.

There were catch-ups, laughs, strange stories, disco dancing dinosaurs and more ghost chat than you could shake a haunted feather duster at. It felt less like a paranormal event at times and more like group therapy with people who are fascinated by the paranormal, regardless of their beliefs, age, experience, or social status. I left knowing that when life smacks you in the chops with a curveball, the parameet community is always there for you. Paul

I think Parameet is the paranormal version of Cheers. Even if you know no one when you walk in you’ve made friends for life by the time you leave. Everyone knows your name (or did and has forgotten as they only met you in the dark before ). If you want to drink until dawn (not that I’d ever do that) there’s someone there with you. If you want to disappear off after the last talk there’s no judgement. I love Paul’s analogy of it being a group therapy session Maybe a bit too much alcohol consumed for it to be AA but definitely therapy from reality! Thank you to everyone; Neil and Julie and their team for organising another amazing event, all the stall holders for having so many wonderful things to part me from my hard earned cash, the speakers for educating and entertaining and last, and by no means least, every single person who has been to one or many. Long live #parameetfamily Liz
